First Impressions

When you first see the TaylorMade Signature Cart Bag you can’t help be impressed. The matt black look (it is also available in Navy / Light Blue and Grey) with silver logos is impressive and the padded handles give a real sense of luxury.

Once you start packing your clubs and gear, the volume of pockets give you lots of options, with useful internal pockets to help organisation.

On course performance

Getting the bag out of the car was easy, with some well placed handles to help. The bag sat very securely on the trolley and was held in place via the strap pass-thru. Once set up it looked fantastic, with the matt finish giving the impression of a stealth fighter jet.

Walking down the fairway, the clubs were protected by the well padded, 14 way divider. This reduced club rattle and gave a sense of security that the shafts were protected.

There is a great array of pockets, with some handy internal storage sections that were excellent for organising all your gear and gadgets. The cooler pocket is vast and I particularly liked the magnetic pocket at the top of the bag that gave easy access and provided a satisfying snap on closing.

Another handy feature was having clips for your towels on both sides of the bag giving flexibility to separating towels and range finders.

The smart material is advertised as providing protection against elements but I did notice that it marked relatively easily.

However, a quick wipe and the bag returned to its original beauty. Once parked up in front of the clubhouse, the members cast envious glances with the occasional “nice bag!” comment.

NCG Verdict

The TaylorMade Signature Cart Bag is a real head turner.

Its simplicity and high end finish will be sure to draw admirers. Add to that the practicality of the bag and you have a great combination.
