Srixon 2025 Premium cart golf bag review : NCG Summary

5 star review

NCG Summary

This is a seriously smart cart bag that will house all of your equipment allowing you to stay organised when you are on the course.

It’s also impressively lightweight and easy to transfer from your trolley into your car boot and vice versa.

It is simply packed with ingenious features – Srixon have really done their homework on the kinds of things we golfers take out with us for a round and then found a great solution on where to put it – a great example is the pen holder. I didn’t even know I needed one until I tried this bag – but it’s really handy!

PROS

  • A home for everything!
  • Love the grab handles on the top
  • Smart looks

CONS

  • None

First Impressions

I love the contemporary looks – cart bags used to be quite staid and traditional but that’s just not the case anymore. The Srixon 2025 Premium Cart Bag comes in several colour options from the bold to the seriously funky.

On-course performance

I absolutely love the way this bag helps me to be organised when on the golf course. It sounds a little silly but it felt like I was more in control of my game because my kit was where I wanted it.

Let’s start with the basics – which is the storage of the clubs themselves. There is a home for every one of your 14 clubs and they are all easily accessible when you need them.

You can also securely attach the bag to a trolley or a electric trolley so you won’t be dealing with a wobbly bag just when you need to concentrate on your game.

The space in the many and various pockets was ample for me to get all of my kit packed into – with capacity to spare.

Srixon 2025 Premium cart golf bag review: Final Thoughts

This is a really versatile bag that is packed with features and built in a robust fashion with a modern look. For me, that is ticking a lot of boxes. I quickly got used to where all of my equipment was stored and was able to access it easily – whether I was looking for my 7-iron, my scorecard or my laser.

This feels liken the type of bag that will withstand the rigours of golf in the United Kingdom throughout the year and keep coming back for more.

Dan is a lifelong golfer. He had the great fortune to grow up within 200 yards of the 5th fairway of his local 9-holer, Rawdon, in Leeds.

Dan attended his first Open Championship in 1988 at Royal Lytham. The first action he saw, peering through the crowds behind the 8th green, was Paul Broadhurst holing out from the fairway below for an eagle. Which seemed perfectly normal at the time.

Since then, he has attended a further 27 Opens. Tragically, he can recite a phenomenal number of arcane statistics about The Open – whether you ask him to or not.

Dan has a post-graduate diploma in print journalism and is an experienced writer and editor. He is also a director of NCG’s parent company.

Dan specialises in the golf courses of the British Isles and heads up NCG Top 100s course rankings. He is not unacquainted with links golf and is closing in on a lifetime tally of 700 courses played.

In a former life, Dan was NCG’s equipment editor. Currently in his bag are: Ping G440 Max driver, Ping G440 Thriver, Ping G440 4-wood, Ping iDi 3-iron, Ping Blueprint-S irons, Ping S259 wedges and a Ping Scottsdale Tec Ketsch Onset putter.
