Wilson has long been one of the go-to choices for many golfers. The success of their Dynapwr range has only echoed this sentiment. Now they have released a new addition to this line-up with the Dynapwr Max+ driver.

This is actually the brand’s most forgiving and confidence-inspiring driver design to date. Along with the LS, Carbon and standard Max options the Max+ completes what was one of the standout driver ranges of 2025.

So, here’s everything you need to know about the DYNAPWR Max+. From its groundbreaking forgiveness and stability-focused shaping to the technology that makes it one of Wilson’s most confidence-boosting drivers yet.

Wilson DYNAPWR MAX+ Driver: The Technology

Like with the rest of the Wilson Dynapwr driver range, the new Max+ has been constructed with Wilson’s own AI driven PKR-360. This club head and face technology has increased the number of optimisable face and body locations which are unique to each model of driver.

This allows the club to have a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness across the face. It also enables the ball speeds to be driven up higher from strikes for both centred and off-centred hits.

The sweet spot on the driver has also been increased by the addition of the open hosel construction. This new hosel system infrastructure removes all unnecessary and insufficient weight allowing the face of the Max+ to flex more resulting in higher ball speeds and more forgiveness.

We saw with the rest of the Dynapwr range last year that the sounding had been improved massively and this technology has been carried over to the Max+. Wilson made the sound of the drivers more appealing through the use of a precision rib placement throughout the body of the club head.

The brand say this guarantees a powerful and appealing sound, so there is no risk of the dreaded ‘tin’ noise that plagues some titanium drivers.

Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from the Wilson Dynapwr Max+ driver…

Wilson DYNAPWR MAX+ Driver: A Closer Look

Like the name may suggest, this is the most forgiving driver in the Dynapwr range. Surpassing the standard Dynapwr Max driver and the 10k MOI mark, it actually makes this the most forgiving driver Wilson has ever made. It is also the straightest.

These qualities are all made possibly because of the 10K MOI driver head. Wilson say it has been designed to comply with the USGA limit for maximum MOI, but only just for the ultimate forgiving driver.

A tighter dispersion off the tee and improved spin consistency on off-centred strikes is also a key feature of this diver. This promoted from optimised bulge and roll refinements in the head.

A flippable, 26g weight has also been included. This helps to fine-tune shot shaping for finding more fairways when certain tee shots require a certain shot shape.

About the author

Max Mcvittie

A bit of a late bloomer to the game of golf, Max fell in love with the sport when he attended Saturday coaching sessions down at his local golf club after being inspired by friends and family members.

Max has remained a member of Eden Golf Club in Carlisle for a number of years now as he looks to get his handicap down into single figures. Most of his golfing career has been spent battling a permanent slice off the tee, which has led to some ugly rounds.

Having studied at the University of Sunderland, Max is starting out his dream career in sports journalism. During his time at university, he picked up valuable work experience at Reach PLC, BBC Radio Cumbria and GiveMeSport, whilst also getting work published in the Teesside Live. He also spent time working at a local weekly newspaper, Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser, as a general news reporter partially covering some local sport just north of the border in Langholm.

Max has just started his journey with the NCG working as the assistant equipment editor. He looks forwarded to reviewing the latest golf equipment, taking up an interest in reviews when buying his first golf club, a Cleveland RTX wedge.

With his bag not going under too many changes throughout the last few years, Max carries an M3 driver, Titleist GT3 Fairway Wood, M2 hybrid, a set of M2 irons, Callaway Jaws wedges and a TaylorMade Spider putter. And yes, Max is a bit of a self-proclaimed TaylorMade fan boy.
