Unlike many other low-torque models, which I think can sometimes feel a little dead off the face, this one rolls the ball with the pace you’d expect from a traditional Scotty.
Pace control is a clear strength. I like this approach from Scotty Cameron as I think some of the other zero torque brands have focussed too much on the face, face control and start line. There is more to putting than just how open your putter face is.

Scotty Cameron Studio Style Fastback OC Putter
Right away, distance control feels spot-on. Unlike some other low or zero-torque models, the ball doesn’t come off dead. The pace is familiar and predictable, which is essential for consistent lag putting.
The heavier head adds a pleasing sense of momentum through the stroke, yet I never found it to be cumbersome. There’s an effortless quality to the strike. The putter felt like it was doing the work for me.
It is clear that Scotty Cameron didn’t waste the time they took to enter the low-torque market. The Studio Style Fastback OC putter bridges the gap between modern stability and classic feel, incredibly well.
I think this was a real gap in what was missing from low-torque putters already on the market. Some of them feel too clunky. But not this one. It offers the improved face control of a low-torque design without sacrificing pace feedback, touch, or looks.

Odyssey Ai-One Square 2 Square #7 Putter
Over the 3 rounds I used it for, I was pretty happy with my performance and hit some great putts. I initially had a tough time aiming, but this settled down once I properly lined the ball up.
You can feel that the putter doesn’t want to rotate open or closed throughout the stroke, which makes knocking in short putts really easy. This putter is great for golfers who are new to the game and want a putter that promotes better technique and for players who have putted poorly for a while and need to try something new.
The best short putters generally have the smallest amount of face rotation throughout the stroke, so if you want help achieving this, then this is the putter for you.

The dark blue PVD finish certainly makes this look a premium option. And with Ai assistance and the Stroke Lab shaft, allied to the new Square 2 Square technology, this putter certainly packs a punch.

While the OZ.1 isn’t cheap, it’s hard to argue with the value it brings. You’re not just paying for a putter but you’re buying into one of the most technologically advanced clubs on the market. And it’s no gimmick. For those struggling with consistency on the greens, this is a really great option.
That said, I must say traditionalists may find the zero-torque sensation a little jarring at first. If you’re already confident with a conventional blade, you might not feel compelled to switch. But if you’re in the market for a breakthrough or battling putting woes, the OZ.1 could be the radical rethink your golf game needs.

During my testing, I found that one of the most notable traits of the Spider 5K-ZT is how stable the face feels during the stroke. Coming from a blade putter, I was struck by how little the face wants to twist open or shut during the swing, which is exactly what this category aims to address.

Compared to competitors, particularly LAB’s softer-feeling models, the Spider ZT delivers a more substantial and somewhat reliable feedback upon impact. For golfers who struggle with distance control, this firmer feel may prove advantageous.
If you struggle with short putts or inconsistent face rotation, the Spider ZT could be a game-changer. Its blend of high-tech stability and familiar design make it a standout in the zero torque category. Alternatively, if you’re already putting well with your current flatstick, there’s no urgent reason to switch. As always with putters, feel and personal preference reign supreme.
That said, I do think this is arguably the most compelling zero torque putter I have tested that is available on the market right now. With its ideal combination of performance, alignment help, and tour-proven tech, it’s the best place to start.

There’s no doubt the PXG Hot Rod Zero Torque putter delivers exactly what modern golfers are looking for. It is forgiving, consistent and stable.

PXG brings blade fans into the zero torque age with a standout flatstick that feels every bit as precise as it looks. With face-balancing, forward press, and pyramid face technology, the Hellcat ZT is engineered to deliver consistency, especially on longer putts.
I admit the concept might look unusual at first glance, but its impact on face stability is impressive. On long putts especially, it excelled. I often found what I aimed is what I hit.

PXG’s take on a zero torque putter does come with a twist. Unlike some zero-torque designs that use an exaggerated offset or centre-shafted hosel, PXG has opted for a bent hosel that enters the heel in a more traditional manner. As a result the face that sits noticeably ahead of the shaft, something that takes a little getting used to, but does improve the stability.
I thought where the Bat Attack ZT really shone was its feel. PXG has incorporated its refined pyramid face pattern, which promotes a consistent ball speed and a pleasing, soft sound. It’s not too soft or too firm; instead, it strikes a rare balance that feels both high-end and reliable.
Overall, I think the PXG Bat Attack ZT is a standout performer in the zero-torque category. Its classic shape, innovative design, and exceptional feel make it a really good option for all club golfers. While I have my doubts over the grip, the overall package is undeniably of high quality.

I think the Evnroll Zero is a putter designed for those who appreciate cutting-edge technology blended with bold design. Its Zero Torque Technology and Sweet Face Technology deliver exceptional performance, particularly on short putts, where it’s almost automatic.
If you’re after something different, something that stands out both visually and in performance, the Evnroll Zero deserves a place in your bag. You might need a bit of practice to dial in the speed on longer putts, but the trade-off is worth it. For those who value precision and confidence on the greens, this is a top contender.

IB Sweet Spot Quaternion Golf Putter
You certainly won’t mistake this for a traditional blade. The Quaternion’s cylindrical, space-age look stands out immediately. It’s symmetrical front-to-back and left-to-right, a design that allows it to be used by both right- and left-handed golfers. While that might sound like a novelty, it stems from a serious engineering aim which is to achieve total balance and zero torque through impact.
The sound and feel at impact on the golf ball are excellent. You are met with a crisp, sort of popping sound that feels both solid and responsive. The graphite shaft dampens harsh vibrations without feeling dead. It offers pleasing feedback on well-struck putts.
Overall, I certainly acknowledge the IB Putter Sweet Spot Quaternion won’t be everyone’s cup of tea aesthetically. But as a piece of engineering, it’s exceptional. It’s beautifully made, easy to align, and promotes an incredibly stable stroke.

SeeMore SKx and SBx Putters
These two putters are stuffed full of tech and are well-constructed. They also offer incredibly easy alignment and, for a “zero-torque” model, look surprisingly good.
The feel off the centre of the club face was soft, feeling a little harsher on off-centre hits. Thankfully most of the time the ball came out of the middle of the face.
If you are in the market for a zero torque putter, then the two models from SeeMore have to be on your shortlist. Yes, they do not yet have the profile of TaylorMade, Odyssey, Scotty Cameron et al yet, but they offer strong technological features that pleasantly surprised me. Just make sure you do get fitted!

Wilson Zero Torque Infinite Putters
Wilson has made a great debut to the world of zero torque with these two putters.
Initially to look down at the heads seem small but compared to a Spider putter there’s not much size difference. Off the face a soft feel and quiet sound is produced with a solid and consistent roll.
These are a great option for any players wanting to enter the world of zero talk – but without the hefty price tag.
