Although Srixon may not command the same level of attention in the driver market in comparison to TaylorMade and Titleist, their products are still some of the best available and following on from the success of the ZX7s the Japanese brand have released the new ZXi models.

There are a trio of options to choose from out of their 2025 line-up, so let me talk you through which one may best suit you and your game.

The Technology

The Srixon ZXi drivers utilise what the brand call a Rebound Frame. Srixon believe this is a completely unique system that will help golfers to maximise distance off the tee, as well as enhancing ball speed and power.

This yardage increase is possible due to the Rebound Frame boosting the energy transfer at impact. It utilises two flex zones instead of one which ultimately maximises the flex across the face resulting in greater distances.

Each of the Srixon ZXi drivers also optimises a player’s launch angle and spin rate. Latticework within the Star Frame Crown construction creates the necessary structure to support what is an extremely light weighted and thin titanium crown to improve performance.

Wet weather golf can be particularly tricky as well as uncomfortable. Srixon have looked to make strides into allowing golfers to be able to maintain the same levels of performance in wetter conditions through the inclusion of laser face milling.

This technological development is new for ZXi drivers which is visible on the surface of the club face which is aimed at stabilising spin and adding forgiveness. Hitting the ball straighter and further in more challenging conditions may have become a touch easier.

Additionally, another face technology used throughout the range is the i-Flex Face. This is a completely redesigned face thickness pattern which produces more efficient energy transfer upon impact. The i-Flex technology provides added strength in the face structure resulting in a thinner centre of the club face Han the previous generation of drivers. Ultimately, the ball speed increases which helps add to the carry distance.

Adjustability is also a big factor, with sole weights being included in all three models. In both the core option and the low spin variant there are two adjustable sole weights, they are placed in the heel and toe of the core driver head, whilst they are located at the front and rear of the LS model.

Being in the heel and toe the Centre of Gravity is able to be adjusted to suit a draw or a fade, whilst the having adjustable weights at the front and back of the club in the ls model allows golfers to set the driver to their preferred spin characteristics. The maximum forgiveness driver only has one adjustable sole weight which enables players to optimise the MOI of the club.

As well as adjustable weights, an all-new 1.5° hosel sleeve means the loft, lie and face angle can all be changed and altered to each players preference.
