Adams Blue line of drivers, fairways and hybrids released

The Blue line, which has been created to help golfers get the ball in the air with ease, has been announced by Adams golf.
The uniquely designed set of clubs includes a driver, fairway wood, hybrid and combination iron set all feature Adams’ new Easy Launch System.
This new addition is made up of three key performance features that work together to give you more air and make the game less intimidating and more fun.
Brian Bazzel, Senior Product Design Creation director said: “Quite simply, Adams Blue is engineered to help golfers hit higher, straighter shots more consistently.”
The Easy Launch System adds a low/back centre of gravity, which will be found in all metalwoods and irons throughout the Blue range.
Adams state that by keeping the centre of gravity low and as far back as possible, this will allow for higher launch, more spin, and therefore more air time on all shots.
When the ball stays in the air, it flies further. Blue’s CG placement will help many swing speeds and swing styles achieve optimal launch conditions.
In addition to the Velocity Slot Technology and low/back center of gravity, new Adams SlimTech shafts have been integrated into Blue, utilizing narrower shaft tip diameters to promote lower kick points and high launch conditions from any lie on the course.
Adam’s Blue Driver will be available in three different lofts of 9.5°, 10.5° & 12° with a 55g Aldila SlimTech shaft at an SRP of £199.
The Blue Fairway is available in three lofts of 15°, 19° & 22°, with a 55g Aldila SlimTech shaft at an SRP of £149, while Blue Hybrid is available in four lofts (19°, 21°, 23° & 25°) with a 55g Aldila SlimTech shaft at an SRP of £129.
Blue Irons are available to buy as either a combination set which include a 3 and 4 hybrid along with the 5-iron through pitching wedge with an SRP of £599 for steel (True Temper Dynalite SlimTech 85g) and £699 for graphite (SlimTech by Aldila 55)
A standard iron-set of 5 through PW are available with an SRP of £399 for steel and £499 for graphite.
