About Sherwood Forest Golf Club
You can find Sherwood Forest in the East Midlands where you will see a long-established heathland gem blessed with pines, silver birch and oak trees of the Clipstone Woods, in the thick of the well-known Sherwood Forest.
The course was designed by Harry Colt and enhanced by James Braid, two mammoth names in the history of golf architecture. SFGC has previously hosted the British and English Seniors, Regional Qualifying for The Open and the Brabazon Trophy.
