Team USA claimed a fourth consecutive Women’s PGA Cup title at Carden Park with a dominant victory in the first staging of the international team event outside the United States.
The Americans finished the event on 19-under par – a record 30 shots clear of second-placed Great Britain & Ireland – after a three-day competition involving six teams.
Canada finished third on 14-over, with South Africa and Australia tied for fourth on 28-over. Sweden finished in sixth on 33-over.
The United States extended their perfect record in the Women’s PGA Cup, having won the inaugural event in 2019 before retaining the trophy in 2022 and 2024.
It was also a landmark week for Carden Park, with the Cheshire resort becoming the first venue outside the US to host the event and showcasing its Championship Cheshire Course to an international field.
Each team consisted of five PGA Professionals, with the lowest three scores counting towards the daily total.
Team USA laid the foundations for victory during the opening two rounds, building a commanding advantage over the rest of the field.
Playing captain Ashley Grier, who has competed in every edition of the Women’s PGA Cup, led an American team that also featured Sandra Changkija, Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth, Allie Knight and Kim Paez.
Changkija was the standout performer of the week, taking the Brittany Kelly Medalist honour with a 6-under total of 213. She shot 71 in each of her three rounds, including an eagle at the par-5 2nd on the final day.
For GB&I, it was a strong week that saw them leapfrog Canada to finish runners-up on the final day. Heather MacRae captained the team and led the side to their best result, having failed to break the top two in the previous three editions.
GB&I’s Sian Evans tied for second with Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth in the individual standings. The pair each finished 1-under.

The next Women’s PGA Cup will take place in 2028, with South Africa hosting for the first time.
