Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag: First Impressions

The Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag certainly catches your eye at first glimpse. The design features a club protection system with a new 15-way moulded WOODÄ’ top. The individual slots have rubber casings helping to separate clubs and therefore prevent clubs from hitting each other, eliminating noise and damage.

2023 sees some new designs in the silencer cart bag, some bolder than others. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea to have skulls or bananas on their golf bag but it adds a nice element of fun.

Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag: NCG Review

Firstly, I must point out that this bag is huge. There seemed to be an endless amount of storage space, with the pocket’s depths feeling endless. To be more specific there is a total of six sizeable pockets, including a cooler pocket, two drinks pouches and a back pouch. The seam sealed pockets keep water out on those wetter rounds.

With that said, this bag is labelled as being fully waterproof. Unfortunately, I did test this on one of the hottest days of the year, and there wasn’t any rain. I have however, tested this since with a good old hose pipe and can happily report my gear has remained dry.

Like many golf clubs, mine has many gravel paths, and so this was the perfect setting to test the silencer club protection system of this Ogio bag. I must admit that when perfectly spaced, there weren’t any clubs rattling, which is very impressive. When the clubs weren’t perfectly aligned in the slots there was the odd clatter.

When it came to getting the bag in and out of the car it was pretty bulking, and with handles only on the back, it was a little challenging. However, there is a handy and comfortable strap to carry the bag on your shoulder if needed.

Final thoughts

I personally don’t care too much about my clubs rattling in my bag, and I’m not too sure how many golfers would be bothered by it. The silencing element may only appeal to a minority of golfers. However, with that said, it is actually much better for the condition of your clubs.

The silencer technology is not the only thing going for this bag. The eye-catching, bold designs are really fun and exciting and this offers an incredible amount of storage for golfers who want to pack everything into their golf bag.
