Sepp Straka became the first Austrian to win on the PGA Tour with his win at the 2022 Honda Classic. He has gone on to win the 2023 John Deere Classic and The American Express and Truist Championship in 2025. He also represented Europe at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy – contributing 1 point to the winning score of 16.5 to 11.5.

Although he is a Srixon tour staffer, he has a pretty eclectic equipment set-up, so what exactly does he choose to put in play?

What’s in Sepp Straka’s bag?

At the top of his bag, Straka chooses to play the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max Driver. He uses the triple diamond model (max) in his driver but also 3 and 7 fairway woods.

He then transitions to a mix and match set of 2025 Srixon irons. His 4 and 5 iron being the Srixon ZXi5’s and the 6-9 being ZXi7’s. As highlighted in Jack Backhouse’s review, the ZXi5’s offer great launch and distance but maybe not enough spin when it comes to the shorter irons. Hence why he then opts for the ZXi7’s from 6-9 iron in order to produce more consistent spin.

Straka rounds out his bag with four Cleveland RTZ wedges (46, 52, 56, 60) and the Odyssey Stroke Lab Tuttle putter.
