The Englishman has one DP World Tour victory to his name, back in 2023 at the SDC Championship in South Africa. Matthew Baldwin claimed the victory by seven shots over Ari Arnaus.
In addition to his one win on the European Tour, he has also won on the Challenge Tour and Sunshine Tour. The 38-year-old is from the same town as fellow English golfer Tommy Fleetwood, Stockport.
Baldwin is a Ping staff player and carries a full bag of Ping equipment. So let’s take a look inside his golf bag…
A look inside Matthew Baldwin’s bag
Matthew uses Ping’s G430 LST driver, a popular choice on the professional tours in both the men’s and women’s game. Fellow Ping staffers such as Leona Maguire and Victor Perez have both opted for the same driver.
He sticks with Ping’s G430 range for his other metal wood he has in play, a three-wood which ishis only fairway wood in his bag.
Baldwin instead prefers a driving iron, a Ping iCrossover. The rest of the Englishman’s iron set up is built up of Ping i230 irons, which he has from a 3-iron to a pitching wedge.

The European Tour winner opts for an extensive wedge range in his bag, carrying, at times, four Ping s159 wedges. He has a 46°, 50°, 54° and 60° wedge in rotation.
His putter of choice is a custom Ping PLD Custom Mundy putter, which he pairs with the only non-Ping element of his golf bag, a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
