Lexi Thompson announced she would be stepping away from professional golf at the end of the 2024 season. The 29-year-old has had a glittering career and is undoubtedly one of the most recognisable faces in women’s golf.
Thompson has had huge a career filled with huge success, winning 11 times on the LPGA Tour and claiming a major championship at the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship. She was just 19 years old, becoming the second youngest LPGA Tour player to win a major, at the time.
We know she is a Cobra staffer but what does the big-hitting American have on her bag for this season?

Lexi has one of the most unchanged golf bags on tour. Most of the equipment in her set-up has been in her back since 2021. But you know what they say: if it ain’t broke, why fix it?
At the top of her bag, Lexi carries a Cobra Radspeed driver and a Cobra King LTD fairway wood customised in a Lexi blue colourway.
As such a big hitter, she has the speed to put longer irons in play than most LPGA Tour players. She carries a Cobra King Tech Utility 2-iron as a result of this. She then moves into a full set of Cobra S2 Forged irons from 4-iron down to pitching wedge.
She has four Cobra King wedges ranging from 48 degrees to 60 degrees. Her only non-Cobra club is her Scotty Cameron GoLo N5 putter.
