It’s happening! Tiger and Charlie Woods to compete together for the first time
Has an 11-year-old ever caused as much of a social media storm? Now we’re going to see him in action
Remember when we all went wild for Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie, after videos of the 11-year-old playing golf were posted on social media?
Well we’re about to see him in competitive action after the 15-time major champion revealed the pair will enter the PNC Championship in December.
Formerly the Father-Son Challenge, the PNC Championship brings together PGA and LPGA Tour major champions and their families together to compete as a team in a 36-hole scramble. This year’s event, which will broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK, will be held from December 17-20 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be playing with Charlie in our first official tournament together,” Woods said in a statement. “It’s been great watching him progress as a junior golfer and it will be incredible playing as a team together.”
The Woods will be looking to add their name to an impressive roll call of past champions.
