Turns out Tiger Woods' son Charlie is more like is old man than we think
The golf world collectively lost its mind when footage of Tiger Woods’ son Charlie emerged on social media.
Now the 11-year-old is turning that glorious swing into a winning one as he tore apart the field in a junior event at Hammock Creek in Florida.
Woods Jr won the nine-hole event with a 3-under 33 – just the five shots clear of his nearest rival.
And just to prove it wasn’t a fluke, Charlie followed it up with a three-shot win to make it a combined 4-under for his last 18 holes.
Woods – the 15-time major champion, that is – said recently that his son is starting to take the game more seriously.
“He’s starting to understand how to play,” he told GolfTV. “He’s asking me the right questions.
“It’s been an absolute blast to go out there and just be with him. It reminds me so much of me and my dad growing up.”
He added: “I analyse his swing all the time. I wish I could rotate like that and turn my head like that and do some of those positions, but those days are long gone, and I have to relive them through him.”
Now go and remind yourselves of that glorious move of which Tiger Woods of all people is so jealous…
