Best par 3 holes in golf
We run down some of the best par 3 holes on the planet
7th hole, Pebble Beach
At just 106 yards the 7th at Pebble Beach is the shortest hole in major championship golf, but can prove one of the toughest when the wind blows.
Sam Snead famously putted off the tee to avoid sending his ball up into the wind. Depending on the wind the hole can be just a flick with a lob wedge up to a three, four or five iron.
Views of the Monterrey Bay area make this hole one of most picturesque and most daunting in the world. Three is a very good score on this hole.
