The Masters tournament was first played in 1934 and was won by Horton Smith. Since then, a number of legendary players have managed to get their hands on the Green Jacket as Masters winners.

Jack Nicklaus is the man with the most wins at Augusta National Golf Club with six, one more than Tiger Woods who sensationally won his 15th major down Magnolia Lane in 2019.

Scottie Scheffler consolidated his spot as World No. 1 in 2022 when he romped his way to a three-shot victory in Georgia, picking up his first-ever major title. He won the Masters again by four shots in 2024 and cemented himself as a legend of the venue.

We could reminisce for days about each individual champion from the famous venue which is famous for its natural beauty and lightning-fast greens. Some of the most memorable wins in recent times have been Adam Scott earning Australia its first green jacket, and Hideki Matsuyama doing the same for Japan.

But Masters winners join a legendary roll of honour and winning this tournament really does give the winner a piece of golfing immortality. So who are our green jacket winners?
