For many, this is the match up we wanted to see on the Sunday Singles at the Solheim Cup. Europe’s Charley Hull and America’s Nelly Korda will showdown in a match that promises to be a one for the ages.

Europe head into the final day of the 2024 Solheim Cup trailing the US 10-6. The European Team need at least eight points from the available 12 to retain the Cup and complete an unlikely comeback after being 10-4 down at one stage on Saturday.

In 2023, Stacy Lewis’ US side swept the opening session 4-0 in rampant fashion. Ally Ewing and Cheyenne Knight won 5&4 against Charley Hull and Emily Kristine Pedersen in what was a fast start for the stars and stripes of the away side at Finca Cortesin.

But Suzann Pettersen’s side clawed back this deficit from the first foursomes session with pairings of Leona Maguire and Georgia Hall, and Linn Grant and Carlota Ciganda leading the charge in session two on day one.

It was Ciganda who eventually holed the crucial putt in the Sunday singles against Nelly Korda to make sure Europe couldn’t lose the trophy. The continent is unbeaten in the last three editions of the event that dates back to 1990, and Pettersen is looking for a historic ‘four-peat’.

After the 14-14 draw in Spain last year, Lewis spoke of how Team USA had built pairings and partnerships that could only grow stronger moving forward. Now, each captain has a second crack of the whip to stamp their authority on the Solheim Cup.

Below are the lineups for the Sunday Singles of the 2024 Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club:
