Mackenzie Hughes is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, and one of the leading Canadians in the men’s game.

Born in Hamilton, Ontario in November 1990, Hughes first got into the game at the age of 7, after his parents took him along to the driving range. He went on to have a successful amateur career, winning the Canadian Amateur Championship in back-to-back years during his time at Kent State University.

Following his graduation from college, Hughes did not have to wait too long before gaining his first professional victory. That came at the Cape Breton Celtic Classic in September 2013, and the win helped him to winning the PGA Tour Canada Order of Merit that year. He has since gone on to win twice on the PGA Tour, with those victories coming six years apart. They came at the RSM Classic and the Sanderson Farms Championship.
