Danny Willett has had a great career, with a major championship among eight DP World Tour wins to his name.
Born in October 1987 in Sheffield, England, Willett grew up playing the game thanks to his older brothers, and was a member at Rotherham Golf Club. He would go on to play for Jacksonville State University, and graduated from college in 2008, but it would be a few years before he would grab his first professional victory.
That came in 2012, at the BMW International Open, and from there on, he continued to rack up victories on the DP World Tour over the next decade. His crowning moment came at the Masters Tournament in 2016, where he came from three shots back to win his maiden major championship. Willett has also won the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, and the tour’s flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship.
