A five-time major champion, former World No 1 and now a LIV Golf player, Brooks Koepka has had an incredible golfing career, and he is only in his mid-30s.
Koepka played his college golf at Florida State University, before turning professional in 2012, making the move to Europe to play on the Challenge Tour. He won four times in a nine-month period, before winning the Turkish Airlines Open in 2014, his first European Tour title, and a first Rolex Series victory. That was shortly followed by a win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, his first PGA Tour title.
The American has gone on to win five major titles. He was victorious at the US Open in 2017 and 2018, along with a hat-trick of PGA Championship wins, coming in 2018, 2019 and 2023. He made history in 2019 as he became the first player to win back-to-back titles in two majors simultaneously. During that time, he also reached the summit of the Official World Golf Rankings.
Koepka was plagued by injuries over a three-year period, which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic. He lost his form and his love for the game, but battled back strongly, fighting back to win his fifth major title, the 2023 PGA Championship win. He became the first LIV Golf member to win a major title in doing so.
He was part of the original group who joined the breakaway LIV Golf League in 2022, and as team captain of Smash GC, he has four wins to his name, more than any other member of the LIV Golf League. He won in Jeddah in both 2022 and 2023, and also won the LIV Golf Orlando title in the latter. His fourth win came during the 2024 campaign, with a two-shot win at LIV Golf Singapore. Koepka became the first to claim five LIV Golf titles with his latest win at the Greenbrier in August 2024.
