  • Did you know?

Ben Griffin became one of the shining stars on the PGA Tour in 2025, earning his first two wins and a Ryder Cup selection.

Griffin was born in North Carolina in May 1996, and immediately began playing the game. After winning two high school championships, he then studied at the University of North Carolina, winning three times in his collegiate career.

After turning professional, Griffin won almost straight away on the PGA Tour of Canada, taking his first pro win at the Staal Foundation Open. That would be his only success for some time, though, with the American even stepping away from the game in 2021 for a short period of time.

He graduated to the PGA Tour for the 2023 season, and two years later, he claimed his first win alongside Andrew Novak at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Griffin then won the Charles Schwab Challenge less than a month later for his first individual PGA Tour crown. Those wins, along with a pair of top tens in the majors that year, did enough to earn him a captain’s pick from Keegan Bradley for Team USA at the 2025 Ryder Cup. In November, he made it three wins on the season, with a victory at the World Wide Technology Championship.
