How much does the winner bank? Here’s the Farmers Insurance Open prize money

How much does each PGA Tour star take home from Torrey Pines?

You know the PGA Tour season is catching fire when the schedule arrives at Torrey Pines.

The venue is steeped in history, much of it thanks to Tiger Woods, which builds excitement for the Farmers Insurance Open every year.

This week, the action finished on Saturday to free up the weekend for NFL coverage in the United States.

Matthieu Pavon became the first-ever Frenchman to win on the PGA Tour, completing a narrow one-shot victory ahead of Nicolai Hojgaard – two DP World Tour players now with PGA Tour cards.

Pavon looked in bother on the 72nd hole but a tricky approach to the par-5 from the juicy rough. He splashed it out to 10 feet and rolled in the putt to keep Hojgaard at bay and secure victory.

So what is the prize money situation in San Diego? Let’s take a deep dive into this year and previous years…
