The Olympics got underway in Paris on Friday 26th July. The men’s golf competition will be spread across four days, beginning on August 1 and ending on the 4. The event will be held at Le Golf National, in Guyancourt, southwest of central Paris – the venue that hosted the Ryder Cup in 2018.
60 men’s players will compete for the medals in the individual stroke play event in Paris.
Who won last time out?
Xander Schauffele won gold at the Tokyo 2020 (played in 2021) Olympics at Kasumigaseki Country Club. The American finished on 18-under-par, with Slovakia’s Rory Sabbatini taking silver on 17-under-par, and C.T. Pan collecting the bronze medal for Chinese Taipei.
What is the history of golf at the Olympics?
