Look who’s watching! This golfer gets owned by the Las Vegas Sphere
Las Vegas might have possibly created the world’s most judgemental golf spectator…
It’s bad enough when your playing partners disapprove of your game, let alone a giant dome watching your every move.
The Las Vegas Sphere is the breathtaking attraction that’s opened just off the Strip – an 18,600-seater house of entertainment that cost $2.3 billion to build.
But it seems the city’s newest tourist hotspot isn’t just restricted to hosting U2. It’s grabbing the headlines for a penchant for watching hapless golfers fail to find fairways at nearby courses.
Check out what happens when Joseph Demare, of ‘Bob Does Sports’, tees it up at Wynn Golf Club – a layout notable for hosting Brooks Koepka vs Bryson DeChambeau in The Match.
While there were no crowds flocking around the first tee box this time, the large, round, spectator in the distance was watching matters intently.
As Demare sent his tee shot into the air, the eyes of the Sphere appeared to be following the ball. It did not like what it saw.
Yes, the loud shout of ‘fore’ told you it was going offline. But it’s the wondering eyes of the 366×516 feet dome that confirms its fate.
Who knows what the Sphere could do or say in years to come?
“Silence please.” “The green is clear.” “On the tee from Holywood, Northern Ireland…”
Only a Las Vegas golf course could provide this type of spectator! Did you enjoy this Las Vegas Sphere video? Tell us on X!
