Matt Wallace claimed his third European Tour victory of the year and fourth overall at the Made in Denmark to boost his chances of making Thomas Bjorn’s Ryder Cup team.

Wallace is a Ping staff player and prefers the LST version of the Ping G400 driver which is the model most favoured by tour players.

Although we have seen a fair bit of love for the new G400 Max which is a bit larger and more stable.

The 27-year old sticks with the G400 range for his 3-wood and 5-wood.

With the irons we see a very common set-up among professionals these days with the more powerful i210 in long irons and a bit more finesse with the i-Blades in the shorter irons.

Wallace uses a mixture of the Ping Glide 2.0 wedges and new Glide Forged wedges.

These are the same model we first saw Bubba Watson and Tyrrell Hatton testing at the US Open.

His putter is a Ping Sigma G Derby model with a ‘Two Thumb’ grip.

Wallace plays the Titleist Pro V1x ball and wears the popular FootJoy Pro SL shoes.

“I set myself positions where I have to do things and, more often than not, I get it done,” Wallace said.

“I’m very fortunate to have done it when I needed to in a few tournaments now.”
