Kai Trump is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and the granddaughter of, you might have guessed it, President Donald Trump.
Kai was born on May 12, 2007, in New York and is the oldest grandchild of the President, who we all know has a strong passion for golf, mostly manifested by his ownership of several golf courses across the planet.
She attends The Benjamin School in Palm Beach County, Florida, and has committed to joining the golf program at the University of Miami in 2026.
She has brothers Donald III, Tristan and Spencer, and sister Chloe.
The reason we are diving into who Kai Trump is is an interesting one, as she is making her debut on the LPGA Tour this week as a budding young amateur. She has a spot at The ANNIKA at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, via a sponsor’s exemption.
“It’s been a dream of mine to compete at the college level and then obviously at the next level, the LPGA eventually,” she said ahead of the event.
“Looking forward to it. It’s cool to say I signed and it’s official and everything (with Miami), but I’m looking forward to going there and the fall and just playing for them.

“I saw Nelly on the range. I think that was pretty cool. She was definitely up before me, but it was really cool seeing her,” she added.
“All these players out here are amazing, and they’re all good at what they do, and it’s just really cool to be inside the ropes with them and be on the range with them.
“I think I’m going to learn a lot from watching them play throughout week. It’s been amazing so far.”

She was also asked about how she does when she plays golf with the President: “He’s pretty good. He’s pretty good.”
“He’s pretty good. We have some tight matches. Yeah, can’t say much – we have some tight matches.”
Heading into the ANNIKA, she is currently ranked No. 461 in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) girls rankings.
Her best notable junior result was a runner-up finish on the Hurricane Junior Tour, and at the start of the year, she competed in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. In that event, she came up against Tiger Woods‘ son, Charlie.
It has been reported that Kai’s golf exploits are partly what led her mother, Vanessa, to begin a relationship with the 15-time major champion.
Kai has nearly 9 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X (about 3.5 million on TikTok, 2.5 million on Instagram, and 1.35 million on YouTube).
She has even appeared in a political context, too. In July 2024, she made a speech at the Republican National Convention in support of her grandfather’s re-election.
