As we approach the end of the season, the Amgen Irish Open takes centre stage as the third event of the Back 9 on the DP World Tour schedule.

This event is one of the most popular on the formerly named European Tour and has been won by some of the greatest players to pick up a club, including Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Padraig Harrington, Sergio Garcia, Colin Montgomerie, Bernhard Langer, Sir Nick Faldo, Ian Woosnam, Seve Ballesteros, and Ben Crenshaw.

The tour will visit the K Club in Kildare as it did in 2023. Vincent Norrman won the event when it was last held here, and McIlroy won it here in 2016.

The K Club has two golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer. The North Course was used for the 2006 Ryder Cup, and it also hosted the Smurfit European Open between 1995 and 2003.

The entry list for 2025 is very exciting too, and is bound to attract a huge crowd, as the Irish Open always does. McIlroy, Garcia, Brooks Koepka, Shane Lowry, Patrick Reed, Francesco Molinari, Danny Willett, Tyrrell Hatton, Marco Penge, Jhonattan Vegas, Padraig Harrington and Luke Donald are all in the field.
