Aaron Rai became the 2nd Englishman to win the PGA Championship with his victory at the Aronimink Golf Club. The last one being Jim Barnes in 1916 and 1919.

His last victory came in 2025 when he held off his fellow countryman and crowd favourite, Tommy Fleetwood to win the Abu Dhabi Championship in a playoff. It was Rai’s first win on the DP World Tour since his triumph at the Scottish Open in 2020.

The 30-year-old has really made a name for himself across the pond over the past few seasons. He recorded his best two finishes in the Masters and PGA Championship in 2025 having claimed his maiden PGA Tour win at the Wyndham Championship back in 2024.

He has now moved to a new level having claimed his first major at the PGA Championship 2026.

He is well known for his iron covers and for wearing two gloves. But what does the Englishman have in play in 2026? Let’s take a closer look at the Aaron Rai WITB 2026…

What’s in Aaron Rai’s Bag?

The Wolverhampton native continues to turn heads with his persistent use of the TaylorMade M6 driver. Released back in 2019, Rai has taken the unusual approach of rebuffing any of the newer TaylorMade drivers in favour of his trusted M6.

He keeps the TaylorMade theme going with two Qi10 fairway woods. A popular choice on tour. To round off his metal woods he has a Titleist GT2 hybrid in the bag set at 24°.

In terms of irons, Rai uses a full set of the TaylorMade P7TW irons, from a five iron to a pitching wedge. When it comes to wedges he has a mix of the Titleist SM9 and SM11 in the bag.

Rounding off his bag, Rai has a TaylorMade Spider Tour V putter and the popular Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
