Check out Rose Zhang’s incredible Pebble Beach tee-shot trick

If her performances on the course weren't spell-binding enough, Rose Zhang has now shown she is a trick shot artist too...

She’s probably the hottest prospect in women’s golf. Rose Zhang enjoyed an incredible amateur career before winning on the LPGA Tour at her first try.

Now the young American, playing at the US Women’s Open at Pebble Beach this week, has shown she is a dab hand with a trick shot too – even if it might have owed a fair bit to luck!

Most of us would be happy just finding the green on the iconic 7th hole – let alone putting it to six feet.

But just watch where Zhang’s tee ends up!

It’s a glorious flip into her back pocket, resting just above the yardage book. Is there anything this incredibly talented young woman can’t do?

She will be aiming to take her first major title as the US Women’s Open is played on the famous Californian links.

Zhang was the world’s best women’s amateur for more than 140 weeks and became the first ever woman to secure back-to-back NCAA titles for Stanford University.

The 20-year-old American also secured victories at the US Women’s Amateur, the US Girls’ Junior, and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this year, as she equalled the record for most amateur titles in a season.

Just nine days after announcing she was turning professional; Zhang went on to win the Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National in her debut event. The 20-year-old became the first player to win on her professional debut on the tour since Beverly Hanson in 1951.

What do you think of the Rose Zhang tee-shot trick? Is she single-handedly trying to solve golf’s slow play problem – by not having to pick up a tee? Why not get in touch with us on twitter?
