Is this the most compact GPS trolley on the market? PowaKaddy launch new CT8

What's new? How much will it cost? And how does it perform? Hannah Holden brings you the details

The new PowaKaddy CT8 GPS looks to squeeze an impressive list of technologies into a seriously small footprint. Let’s take a closer look…

PowaKaddy CT8 GPS trolley: First impressions

Always struggling to fit your golf clubs and your trolley in the car boot? I know I am. Well the PowaKaddy CT8 GPS takes it to the next step. It’s so small it folds down to fit into a footwell.

As for aesthetics, PowaKaddy never miss on this front and I love the striking gunmetal metallic finish which gives this trolley a really premium look.

PowaKaddy CT8 GPS trolley: The technology

Don’t think the small frame means it lacks on the tech front.

The CT range from PowaKaddy is all about small compact designs and this new model is no different. In fact PowaKaddy are saying this is the smallest GPS trolley on the market.

The integrated GPS system allows you to access 40,000 golf courses worldwide. The new LCD screen is the largest ever used in a PowaKaddy trolley which allows for extra features such as showing you green shape and drop flag technology that gives you accurate yardages to any pin position.

The GPS also keeps stroke indexes and par information for both men and women. You can also use it to track your scores and log a performance history.

As we saw with the CT6 the trolley features PowaKaddy’s simple 2-fold system and a plug and play battery making that dash to the first tee much smoother.

If you play on a hilly golf course there is also the option of upgrading to a EBS model which includes an electronic braking system which automatically slows down the trolley on steep inclines.
