Motocaddy S1 trolley: First impressions
The new S1 has a strong bold Motocaddy styling and fits in really well with the rest of their line-up. I really like the new shaping in the middle body of the trolley where we see a much more streamlined battery area.
Motocaddy S1 trolley: The technology
The new look S1 features the brand’s quickest-ever one-step folding system which is not only extremely simple, but it will have you ready for your round in just seconds.
Possible my favourite upgrade is the addition of a ‘Click-n-Connect’ battery which gives the user cable-free connectivity. The battery also automatically disconnects when the trolley is folded down, while there is no need to remove the battery for charging either as a quick-access port allows onboard charging.
On the handle we see nine speed control settings, a speed indicator, a battery metre, and buttons for adjustable distance control up to 45 yards. There is also a USB port for charging your various gadgets.
In the S1 DHC you get all the features of the S1 but with the additional benefit of Motocaddy’s automatic downhill control technology. This is great for those of you playing on undulating golf courses as it has an electronic parking break and also adjusts to slope to help maintain a constant speed.
