Zero torque putters seem to be everywhere at the minute, but they often don’t come with a friendly price tag. Wilson is out to change that with their two new Infinite torque designs. These two mallets are Wilson’s first zero torque putters, aiming to offer exceptional stability, improved face control, with a pure, consistent roll every time. So, let’s see how they perform in our full Wilson Zero Torque Infinite Putters Review below…
NCG Summary

NCG SUMMARY
Wilson has made a great debut to the world of zero torque with these two putters.
Initially to look down at the heads seem small but compared to a Spider putter there’s not much size difference.
Off the face a soft feel and quiet sound is produced with a solid and consistent roll.
These are a great option for any players wanting to enter the world of zero talk – but without the hefty price tag.
PROS
- Great price point
- Nice shapings
- Feels nice off the face
CONS
- Not the greatest of alignment aids
- Head cover could be better
First Impressions
Taking these putters out of the head covers, I really liked the style. Wilson have created two smaller headed mallet putters – The 606, which is compact winged-mallet and the Lakeview which is a half moon shape. They both offering a very simple design, the 606 with more of a bold alignment aid than the Lakeview.Â

The jet black design isn’t just for looks, Wilson has used a two-tone anti-glare PVD coating, to avoid any distractions at address.
The head cover wasn’t my favourite. Looks wise, it was pretty nice but the Velcro fastening at either side wasn’t the quickest to get on and off. I did also feel like if I didn’t secure both sides it might fall off when walking.

NCG Verdict
The 606 style suited my eye the best so I took that one for a spin last weekend. I’m use to larger headed mallet so to start with it was a bit of an adjustment but one I did really come to like.
My first putt came from long range about 40ft which I rolled nicely up to a foot – a great start. I hit a mixture of lengths and enjoyed the soft sound produced as the ball came off the face.

I found that these putter’s don’t have the greatest of alignment aids. I’m use to a bold line on the top of a putter head and so this was quite different – great for a player who enjoys the minimal look.

The anti glare tech worked great. If you can believe I saw the sun in the UK for a round – it was great to not have to worry about the glare.
In terms of tech, Wilson hasn’t skimped. The centre of gravity is perfectly aligned to the shaft axis, so there’s virtually no torque applied to your hands. This means improved face control, better start lines and a pure, repeatable roll. A precision double milled face pattern helps delivers consistent feel and reliable distance, even on off-centre strikes.
NCG Verdict
Overall, this is a great putter from Wilson – I have even put it in the bag for the Sunningdale foursomes this week!
