NCG SUMMARY

It’s a love or hate situation when it comes to casual golf shoes. Personally, I loved that these shoes are almost identical to my normal Adidas trainers and as a style of shoe I enjoy it’s great I have a pair now to wear on the course.

Not only do these shoes look great but they’re very comfortable too. Adidas often has a reputation for narrow footwear but these were far from that.

Adidas Women’s Retrocross 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes review: First Impressions

Straight out of the box I loved the design of these golf shoes. I was stood with a white pair of Adidas trainers on at the time and they were near enough identical. I love that I now have the option to wear such a casual and stylish shoe out on the course.

I also really liked the plain white colourway, it gives a sleek look that would be great to pair with so many different outfits.

Adidas Women's Retrocross 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes Review

These are a spikeless golf shoe with small rubber nibs on the bottom but sit pretty flat on the floor.

NCG Verdict

Putting these on my feet for the first time I was impressed with how roomy they were in the toe area. I don’t have wide feet but these certainly had plenty of room for if you did. I wore them in a UK 8 which is the typical size I opt for in Adidas shoes but typically in most other brands I’m a 7.5.

I waited for a drier/warmer day to test these shoes with them being a dazzling white. I was impressed with how comfortable they were straight out of the box. Unlike some golf shoes these weren’t packed with foam that shaped your feet they were just as standard and that was pretty nice.

Having worn them on some moderately warm spring days in the UK I was impressed with how breathable they seemed. Over multiple rounds I haven’t felt any rubbing or discomfort which is great.

Adidas Women's Retrocross 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes Review

As these shoes don’t have any risen rubber nips on the bottom just more shallow profile they are very flat. This isn’t at all a criticism just something to bare in mind if you’re coming from spiked shoes that site quite high off the floor this would be a change.

Visually these are what I’d call summer shoes. Whilst I don’t think they wouldn’t be waterproof I wouldn’t knowingly head out onto the course in these if it was going to rain as there is quite a few ventilation holes on outer.

Adidas Women's Retrocross 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes Review

Overall, these are a great pair of golf shoes. I really enjoyed the casual feel they give off. Without looking at the sole you wouldn’t know that they’re golf shoes and so they could certainly be worn in a non golf setting if needed. I look forward to wearing these more over summer.
