Best known for their vibrant designs, Volvik has made a name for themselves offering premium options at a more reasonable price.
Now they are back with a new range developed by the brand’s research and development team in Korea. The six-ball line-up has been engineered to optimise performance across different swing speeds.
From the Tour-calibre Condor and Condor X models to the softer S3 and S4 Tour Soft options, each ball in the range has been built with a specific player profile in mind.
So which Condor ball is right for you? Here’s everything you need to know about the new range…

Volvik Condor Golf Balls: The Technology
Each model has been engineered to optimise launch, spin and feel for a specific type of swing speed.
At the centre of the Condor golf balls is Volvik’s Hyper White Carbon core technology. These cores have been engineered to deliver strong energy transfer at impact.
This helps to generate higher ball speeds and more a efficient launch.
Different variations of the core are used throughout the range. Variations that include Power, Soft and Dual Power designs. In turn this allows Volvik to fine-tune performance for different swing speeds and launch preferences.

The Condor range features both three-piece and four-piece constructions. This layering system allows engineers to separate driver and iron performance by controlling how energy moves through the ball.
The result is reduced spin with the driver to increase distance. This is combined with higher spin on approach shots for improved control around the greens.
Some models in the range include Elastin mantle layers, which sit between the core and the cover. These layers help manage energy transfer within the ball and contribute to faster ball speeds while maintaining soft feel.

The Condor and Condor X balls feature soft cast urethane covers. Volvik say these provide the high levels of friction required for excellent greenside spin and shot control.
The S3 and S4 Tour Soft balls use a patented L.R.T urethane cover. This iteration places a greater focus on delivering a soft feel whilst also improving durability.

The balls also incorporate specially engineered dimple patterns to promote stable flight.
The Condor and Condor X models use a 336 Perfect Symmetrical Dimple Pattern, which helps produce a consistent and penetrating trajectory.
Meanwhile, the S3 and S4 Tour Soft models use 322 Double Flat Dimples, which reduce air resistance and help maintain stability during flight.
Volvik Condor Golf Balls: The Line-up
The Volvik Condor range features four new golf ball models; the Condor, the Condor X, the Condor S3 and the S4 Tour Soft. Here’s a closer look at each model…
Condor
Main Attributes: Works to deliver a mid-launch and spin for a more consistent ball flight.
Who is it for?: Best suited towards golfers with a driver swing speed in excess of 85mph.
Condor X
Main Attributes: There is a real focus on distance here as it is designed to deliver explosive ball speeds and a higher overall spin rate.
Who is it for?: Its four-piece construction means it is most compatible for those with higher swings speeds of around 90mph.
Condor S3

Main Attributes: Works to deliver a mid-to-high launch, as well as placing a greater emphasis on control and a soft feel.
Who is it for?: Volvik believes this is an option for those with slower swing speeds and club head speeds of over 80mph.
S4 Tour Soft

Main Attributes: For those who are looking to hit the ball further and higher, then look no further.
Who is it for?: This will also be a slightly better fit for those with a quicker swing speed of over 90mph.
