NCG Summary

I tested the Big Max Aqua Seven H golf bag and found it to be lightweight, well-made, and stylish, with a bright blue and white design.

It has plenty of pockets, including a special one for your phone and a waterproof rain hood, making it very practical for all weather conditions.

Overall, it’s comfortable to carry, holds your equipment securely, and is a good value at £149.00.

First Impressions

I was fortunate enough to review a Big Max trolley bag last year and was really impressed, so having the opportunity to get my hands on one of their carry bags was too good to miss.

The bag is incredibly light and has great build quality. It has a striking design and I loved the blueberry and white combination but you can also get the bag in another three colour combinations.

On course performance

Once I transferred my clubs and equipment into the bag I was pleasantly surprised at how light it remained. There was plenty of room for all my accessories and the zips felt very robust. The material is fully waterproof and wipe clean, so even in the worst conditions it will keep everything dry and the bag will look like new.

It has a four way divide for your clubs and they fitted in easily. I prefer to have a separate divide for my putter but I had to have it in the same section as my woods.

For those rainy days, there is a clever hidden pocket for the rain hood that can be found behind the back padding.

With seven pockets in total, you have a lot of choice when organising your gear. There is even a special smartphone pocket that allows you to take photos and filming for those budding social media influencers!

The carry straps are very comfortable and ensure that the bag sits securely across your back, with limited club rattle.

The cooler pocket is a little on the small side but is in proportion to the size of the bag overall.

The stand system is excellent and your bag remains secure when you put it down, even on undulating ground

Final Thoughts

I was really impressed with the Big Max Aqua Seven H golf stand bag. It is light, well designed and looks great.

There is plenty of space for a carry bag and I finished my round with no backache at all.

I would have preferred a separate area for my putter but overall a great option at £149.00.
