Scotty Cameron Super Select Putters: The Technology
Scotty Cameron has refined the new Super Select putters based on feedback from the game’s best players. They feature refined milling methods, new neck styles, multi-material designs and more engineered weight distribution.
Dual Milled Face Technology
Sound, feel, and feedback is taken to the next level by combining the softness of deep-milled putters with the feedback, consistency and roll of Scotty’s more recent mid-milled offerings.
After the initial deep mill is etched across the putter face, a second pass of the mill levels the peaks of the face milling. This produces a flatter, more consistent surface for the ball to contact the putter’s face.
New I-Beam Neck Design
This new precision sculpted neck design makes each model look more industrial. It also allows for the repositioning of weight from the neck to the heel and the toe of the putter to allow more optimal performance.
Performance Weighting
Each model features customisable sole weights from either 303 stainless steel or heavier tungsten for the Newport and Newport 2 models. This is Used in conjunction with purpose-built aluminium sole plates on all plus, mid-mallet and golo models.
This allows for optimal weight distribution and higher MOI. It also means each putter has optimal balance and performance regardless of shaft length.
Super Select Newport
The most traditional blade in the range features a new I-Beam plumbers neck hosel. Visually it has the most distinctive rounded edges.

Super Select Newport Plus
This is one of the numerous models in this range that is made slightly wider than a traditional blade. It combines a 6061 aluminium sole plate with a solid 303 stainless steel face and stainless steel sole weights to maximise performance.

Super Select Newport 2
The line’s flagship model has a super crisp, mechanical milled shaping. It is milled from 303 stainless steel and has a solid face. The sole has a tri-sole design and features adjustable tungsten weights.

Super Select Newport 2 Plus
This is slightly wider than the Newport 2 for golfers who want something that is slightly bigger sitting behind the golf ball. The larger size and the stainless steel sole weights help drive up MOI.

Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus
The Newport 2.5 Plus features an I-Beam style jet neck. This model will offer the most toe hang and face rotation of any putter in this Newport line-up.

Super Select Squareback 2
This is a wider-bodied, angular mid-mallet. It has a higher MOI than the Newport models but still has a smaller blade-inspired shape.

Additional Models
Four additional models will be added to the Super Select line-up in May. The Super Select Del Mar, Fastback 1.5, Golo 6 and Golo 6.5.
