Golf club committees divide opinion, so Harvey Jamison went to speak to the members of Scarcroft in the latest episode of ‘Club Golfers vs.’

It is 2019 and golf club committees are at a crossroads. They need to adopt a new structure, fit for the modern age or they could be ditched.

They’re like marmite, you love them or hate what they stand for. They’re either 100 years outdated or golf club committees are needed now more than ever.

But, what reputation do committees have to everyday golfers? How are they perceived? What are the people on them like? How beneficial are they? What do they mean to YOU?
