This is an amazing jacket. Playing through the winter is generally not fun due to cold winds and the occasional shower, and combine that with wearing a bulky uncool jacket that is impossible to swing in, and you can start to see why some golfers put their clubs away until spring.

This jacket can change that. It’s lightweight, has four way stretch back and shoulders for easy swing mobility and a poly-insulated front that means you don’t feel the wind even when it’s howling. The pockets are great and it has an Aquaguard 2 way front zip so that you don’t get wet when there’s a light rain shower.

It’s such a versatile jacket that I’ve been quite happy wearing straight from an evening’s 9 holes out for a drink afterwards, as it’s also just a cool, fashionable jacket. I highly recommend it!

G/Fore Repeller Vest

I’ve never been much of a gilet man, but the G/Fore Repeller has absolutely changed that. I love how light it is, and I’m amazed at how much protection from the elements it offers. It has GFore’s DryTex technology and a sealed zipper so that you stay dry when wearing it, and it also has a front chest pocket with heat-bonded waterproof seams to keep anything valuable dry.

I’ve worn this on both hot and cold days, where it’s been the perfect garment, just mixing up the different layers I have on underneath.

It folds down really small, making it the perfect layer to carry in my pencil bag, and the magnetic side pockets are a nice touch as they are easily accessible, but also, nothing falls out. It might be a tad on the expensive side, but you will not regret buying it.

G/Fore Camo Gallivanter

Wow! Just look at this shoe. And the good news is that it feels as good as it looks.

The UK size 8 (Euro 42) fitted my usually sized 7.5 wide foot pretty well out of the box. The standard Gallivanter fit tends to run narrow. The advice on the excellent website is to size up if you’re between sizes, which is what I did and it worked just fine.

There was a strong sense of stability thanks to the heel piece, and the cleated system on the sole provided excellent on-course traction.

This is a stunning-looking golf shoe which will ensure you stand out from the crowd. It also performs really well out on the golf course. But perhaps it looks too nice to use on anything other than a firm links course in winter!

G/Fore Daytona Melange Tech Interlock Pullover

I own a lot of quarter zip jumpers, and this has gone straight into the rotation. The charcoal heather grey colour goes with my whole collection of chinos and can be worn at pretty much any occasion. I like the blue, white and red colours around the zips to give it a little bit of style.

This particular jumper is slim fit, so you need to factor that in when picking your size, but that suits me, and in particular, I love the way it fits my forearms. There’s nothing worse than baggy sleeves overhanging your glove or grip.

It features G/Fore’s mossed interior, which means the inside of the jumper is slightly thicker, which will help keep you warm during the cooler months. You will be seeing me in this jumper over the winter and you should pick one up for yourself too.

G/Fore Core 5 Pocket Trousers

G/Fore does a great job of making clothes that are suitable on and off the golf course, and the Core 5 Pocket trousers are no different. Styled more like fashionable jeans than golf trousers, these straight-legged chinos are stretchier than they look making getting up and down to line your putt up on the green very easy.

They are quite thick so keep you warm in the wind and cool conditions and the three colours they are available in are very neutral and therefore it’s quite hard to go wrong when picking out an outfit.

The front pockets are a bit tight to get in and out of when searching for tees and ball markers, especially when wearing a glove, but overall these are quality trousers and I could easily live and play golf in these for the rest of my life.

G/Fore Hybrid Quilted Nylon Knit Jacket

I can’t get over how stylish this jacket is. I would wear this as much casually as I would on the golf course. I really like the fact the main body is a thick quilted design for maximum warmth but that the collar and sleeves are a softer nylon knit. It is extremely comfortable to wear day to day or out on the golf course.  

I wear a UK 8/10 top and got this in a small, which I really like the fit of. I would say this is a slim-fit design, so if you like something baggier, I would go up a size.  

I find this perfect to swing in out on the course, but I probably wouldn’t wear this with another layer. The main body is both water and wind-resistant, but the arms aren’t, so you would probably have to swap into a waterproof jacket in heavy rain.

This is amazing quality, and will be getting lots of wear from me this winter.

I love the fact this has such a bold modern styling to help you stand out on the golf course. The small pops of colour on each corner are a really nice way to elevate the design. 

This is a great mid layer for cooler days out on the golf course and if you want something that can easily be put on and off. It also stores really well in your golf bag without creasing. I would say this is an ideal piece for autumn or for layering in winter.  

I generally wear a UK size 8/10 top and I got this in a UK small which fits perfectly with a bit of room to spare.

G/Fore Durf Golf Shoes

The G/Fore Durf golf shoes are the perfect pair of white golf shoes with a twist. The leather pump design offers a sleek and stylish finish that would be great to match any outfit.

The firm rubber sole with rubber cleats acts as a hybrid between spiked and spikeless shoes. The brand even highlighted with an extra pair of laces, that the soles would last much longer than the laces. 

I had never seen an insole like it. G Fore has created indentations in foam to create small ‘massaging nubs’. Initially, I found that they felt quite strange but I quickly forgot that they were there and just enjoyed the added comfort!

G/Fore MG4+ Golf Shoes

These have to be the best-looking golf shoes I have ever tested. I love how G/Fore are bringing modern, stylish designs into golf that still deliver on that all-important performance. 

I am a UK size 6, and a size 6 in these comes up slightly small. If you were to purchase these, I would recommend going up half a size to get the perfect fit.

The back of the shoe features a 3D moulded external heel cap for stability. I really liked the way this helped hold the ankle in place.

I can also say the waterproofing works, these have kept my feet dry in rainy conditions and also in long grass when searching for golf balls.
