What were the most successful golf balls at the RBC Heritage? Paul Miller kept track so you didn’t have to!
The week after the Masters at Augusta National the PGA Tour rolls on to The RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. Just like at The Masters, Titleist has had another dominating week. The only difference being that whereas TaylorMade, courtesy of Rory McIlroy, finished on top at The Masters – at the RBC Heritage 2025 Titleist swept the board when it came to the final top 5 places.
Justin Thomas shot a 61 in round 1 and though he did not lead wire to wire he eventually ran out the winner of the Tartan jacket after pipping Andrew Novak on the 1st hole of a playoff.
But what balls were the top five players playing over the week? Below shows what those finishing in the top five were teeing up and how it changed throughout the week.
Justin Thomas secured his first Tour victory since winning the PGA Championship in 2022. He started off the week in fine form shooting a 61 and finished it off in the playoff by holing a 30ft birdie putt. His victory follows on from finishing joint 5th in 2024.
Andrew Novak was going for his first PGA Tour victory and on the final hole in regulation had a putt for victory. He unfortunately missed it and lost on the 1st hole in the playoff to Justin Thomas.
His ball of choice, like Justin Thomas, is the Titleist Pro V1x. Read the NCG ball review for more info.

After shooting successive rounds of 65 in round 2 and 3 Maverick McNealy entered the top 5 and finally finished tied for third after a closing round of 70.
Brian Harman continued his good April form – after winning the Valero Texas Open – and started this tournament with a first round 66. Though he could not maintain
Brian Harman shot two rounds of 66 (round 1 and 3) and two rounds of 69 (round 2 and 4) to secure a tied third finish.
