Clothes aren’t necessarily the first thing that springs to mind when Mizuno is mentioned. More known for their irons, which are considered some of the best feeling clubs on the market, the Mizuno apparel range goes under the radar somewhat. That’s not to say this is the brand’s first venture into apparel, in fact far from it. Mizuno have been producing premium apparel and accessories since 1906 and have released some autumn/winter clothing as the cold and wet weather ceases to shift.
Mizuno have incorporated traditionally colder month colours with more modern patterns across the range. From umbrellas to trendy pullovers, Mizuno offer the complete set and will have you adequately equipped to battle the winter weather conditions.
In this guide, we’ll dive into some of the best winter apparel options from Mizuno, designed to keep you comfortable, agile, and focused—even when the weather is anything but pleasant.

Mizuno Tapered Trouser

There is nothing worse than feeling restricted when playing golf. The Mizuno tapered trouser has 4 way stretch making it supremely comfortable while still looking good and providing unrestricted movement.
They are mad from 135 gsm Polyamide/Elastane mix. There are 2 front pockets one of which has 3 additional tiny pockets which I assume to be for tees and/or ball markers but I could not find the intended function on any website.
There are 2 buttoned rear pockets. A smart and practical pair of trouser that will make your golf more comfortable.
PROS
- Smart look
- Comfortable
- Lack of restriction when swinging
CONS
- None
RRP: £70
SIZES: S, M, L, XL, XXL (Note that the medium also had the measurements- leg 32” and waist 34”)

Mizuno 20K Waterproof Trousers

The Mizuno 20K Waterproof Trousers I found to be very well designed. They look smart and are waterproof and stretchy, all of which are important.
They have a few other design features which enhances their performance. The pockets all have press stud closure and the back pockets have a large flap which covers them providing extra protection from the elements. The adjustability is a big plus.

The ankle cuffs have zip and hook and loop to allow for ease of donning and removal. The waist is elasticated with a press stud closure and a drawstring. There are also belt loops.
The material allows for 20,000 grams of moisture transfer, hence the name.

Mizuno Melange ¼ Zip Pullover

I really like this type of top and wear them all the time even when not golfing.
The Mizuno Melange ¼ zip is a lightish pullover. It is largely one colour with contrasting seams and zip.
It is made from 93% polyester and 7% elastane and has 4 way stretch.
As a consequence it is comfortable and gives good freedom of movement. I would envision wearing this on a cooler summer’s evening or as part of layering in winter.
The apparel nowadays makes it easy to wear warm non-restrictive clothing for golf and a top like the Mizuno Melange ¼ zip is an essential piece of kit.
PROS:
- Light but warm
- Looks great
- Comfortable
- 4 -way stretch doesn’t restrict your swing
CONS:
- None
RRP: £100
Sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL
Colours: Black, Charcoal, Burgundy, Navy

As with many of their tops it has 4-way stretch so there is no feeling of restriction when playing golf. The chest and upper back has the black panel which gives a nice contrasting look as well as the back panel providing the venting.
There is a deep breast pocket with a reassuringly waterproof looking zip. A couple of reflective logos add a bit of interest to the appearance.
Comfortable and warm this top perfect for layering.
