We take a look at the clubs the Northern-Irishman used to claim his 3rd PGA Tour victory.

WITB: Graeme McDowell, The OHL Classic

After a Monday finish and a three-man playoff, Graeme McDowell sealed his 3rd PGA Tour title with a win at the OHL Classic in Mexico.

In what was one of his worst calendar years to date, McDowell ended the year with arguably his best shot.

A 5-iron on the 1st playoff hole grazed the cup and finished 3-feet away for a tap-in birdie.

The 2010 US Open Champion relied on a bag of Srixon irons and Cleveland wedges, along with a Callaway driver and Odyssey putter, to get the job done.

In complete contrast to the delayed 72 holes the playoff was over in a flash, with just one hole needed thanks to McDowell’s pin-point approach at the 18th hole to tie up the win.

It would have been heartache for McDowell but for an 8-foot par save on the 72nd hole.

It looked as though fellow-Srixon iron player Russell Knox would close the win out but a bogey at the final hole meant there would be a 3-man playoff between McDowell, Knox and Jason Bohn.
“It’s been a tough year but this is special, I’ve stuck to my task the last three or four months”- Graeme McDowell It was the perfect end to what was a difficult 2015 season for McDowell, in which he missed seven cuts out of the 15 events he competed in.

McDowell’s best finish in the Majors was tied for 49th place at The Open and he only earned 320 points in the FedExCup standings.

“You go through a year like this, you think, ‘Am I finished? Am I not good enough?’ You ask yourself all the questions,” McDowell said.
