Will Zalatoris has had a seriously impressive start to his professional career jumping 613 spots up the world rankings from 2019 to 2020 and finishing T6th at the US Open when he was still a Korn Ferry player.
Will has been a Titleist staffer throughout his PGA Tour career; he carries a full bag of the brand’s gear. So has he changed his set-up for the 2022 season? We take a look in his bag…
What’s in Will Zalatoris’s bag?
Zalatoris has put the new Titleist TSR woods in play straight away. He opts to use the TSR3 model in his driver but has the TSR2+ fairway wood. This is an interesting change as he has been in a Titleist ‘3’ driver and fairway wood model since 2019.
Another interesting change he has made for 2022 is to increase the length of this driver to gain more distance. This led to a shaft change; he has moved from a Fujikura Speeder TR 757 shaft to a Fujikura Speeder TR 661 shaft, which is about 10 grams lighter. This is to ensure the driver’s overall weight and feel didn’t change despite it being longer.

Another new addition to his set-up is a T200 driving iron. He moved to this model as it launches higher and has more ball speed. This allows him to hit a wide variety of shots, including trapping the flight down when necessary. After this; his set-up has stayed very similar over the last two seasons. He uses the Titleist T100 irons from 4 to 9-iron. He is still using the original 2019 T100 iron model.

He carries three wedges, two Titleist Vokey SM9’s and one Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks model which has a lower bounce and more refined sole grind.

He has used an Odyssey White Hot 7 for the last few seasons but has now made the switch into a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 11 putter. He rounds out his bag with the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
