Sam Burns has become a seasoned PGA Tour star in the last couple of years, winning five times since 2021 and becoming an established figure.
The American impressively won the 2023 WGC Dell Match Play which helped to earn him his Ryder Cup debut at Marco Simone in the same year.
Burns won for the first time on the PGA Tour four years ago at the Valspar Championship – a tournament which he won again in 2022.
Having become a regular feature in the top 20 of the world rankings, Burns is no longer a stranger at the top of PGA Tour leaderboards.

A look inside Sam Burns’ bag
At the start of 2025, Burns used the Callaway Apex TCB irons which he still has now but, at the top of the bag, he has made some slight changes.
The 28-year-old still uses the Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond S driver but has introduced the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond 3-wood. He sticks with the Callaway Apex UW hybrid but sometimes chooses the Callaway Apex UT (3) – a club he is opting to game at Oakmont.
He then moves into a full set of Callaway TCB irons, from a 4-iron to a pitching wedge. Burns has three Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges in his bag.
His putter of choice is an Odyssey Ai-One #7 putter and his the ball he currently has in play is a Callaway Chrome Tour X ball.
