What’s in Bryson DeChambeau’s bag?

The LIV golfer is experimenting ahead of the 2023 season – so what clubs might he put in play? We've had a couple of clues...

Bryson DeChambeau surprised all of us when he turned up on the tee at the Saudi International – his first competitive start of 2023 – wielding a TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver.

He has also, according to Golfweek, been spotted visiting Ping’s headquarters to test the Scottsdale brand’s gear.

We know what you’re thinking: isn’t he a Cobra staffer? And you’d be correct. But according to a spokesman for the brand with which DeChambeau has been associated his entire career, his contract came to an end in December and the two parties are working on a new contract moving forward.

For now, though, the American is free to experiment. And given his prowess off the tee – he was the PGA Tour’s longest driver in his last couple of seasons before switching to LIV – the next few weeks will be interesting.

This Bryson guy might not be the best brand ambassador money can buy.
