It has been a winning start to 2026 for the Fitzpatrick household. Older brother, Matt, won the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour a week before Alex Fitzpatrick opened his account on the DP World Tour at the Indian Open.
The brothers made history as the first to win in successive weeks on the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour.
Matt then went on to win the RBC Heritage for the second time, the week after The Masters, before then teaming up together and winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The 27-year-old, who only turned pro in 2022, won the Hero India Open after a strong final nine holes. Fitzpatrick overcame a sizeable deficit to defending champion Eugenio Chacarra heading into the final round.

Despite a double bogey on the 18th, the Englishman still won in what was a fairly dominating fashion as his competitors fell away one-by-one.
His win in New Orleans with his brother has also entitled him to PGA Tour status until 2028. Something he is currently taking full advantage, narrowly missing out on securing the Truist Championship, after leading going into the final round.

What’s in Alex Fitzpatrick’s bag?
At the top of his bag, Fitzpatrick still opts to use the Ping G440 driver released last year. Rather uniquely, this is the only ping club in his bag as he chooses to game a series of TaylorMade fairway woods instead.
The fairway woods he currently uses are a all TaylorMade Qi4Ds – a three, seven and nine wood.
You don’t often see tour players using as many as three fairway woods, but his lack of long irons may be an indication to where his preference lies.

In fact, for his Hero Indian Open victory he only had five irons in his bag – all of which were Titleist T100s.

Like his fairway woods layout, he makes up for it with his wedge load out. Fitzpatrick continues his association with Titleist as he games four Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges.
His Titleist links finish with the Titleist Pro V1x and now has an Odyssey Ai-One 7 S putter in the bag.
