The US Open is such an exciting event, and the final round is always hotly anticipated. Labelled as golf’s toughest test, the winner of the US Open certainly earns their money. This will be no different at the 2026 tournament at Shinnecock Hills on Long Island.

It is a brutal test that has hosted the US Open five times before, and seen great players win, such as Brooks Koepka, Retief Goosen, and Raymond Floyd.

It is America’s national championship and one that every player, let alone Americans, want to win. If you have won the US Open, you know your game can stand up to stern tests.

In 2026, Wyndham Clark entered the final round with a six-shot lead over four other players.
