Another albatross at the LPGA Drive On Championship!
What are they putting in the water at Superstition Mountain?
First we had the amateur who holed out from the fairway during the pro-am, and then into the main event and Yuka Saso was dropping a rare bird of her own.
The 21-year-old, who two years ago announced herself to the world as a teenager when she became the youngest player to ever win the Women’s US Open, had 217 yards to the hole on the par-5 2nd at Superstition Mountain when she made her million-to-one shot.

(Come for the incredible feat, stay for the wonderful reaction!)
If you’re wondering, it’s the first albatross recorded on the LPGA Tour since Lyndsey Weaver-Wright dropped a two in the 2020 season.
