When is the 2023 AIG Women’s Open?
The 47th Women’s Open will take place from August 10-13, 2023, and, after a three-year run on links courses, will move inland to Walton Heath Golf Club – the Surrey venue best known for hosting the 1981 Ryder Cup, as well as the Senior Open Championship, various European Tour events, and US Open qualifying.
South Africa’s Ashleigh Buhai will return to defend her maiden major title she won at Muirfield in 2022.
How much are tickets?
As well as the four tournament days, fans will now be able to purchase tickets for the practice day on the Wednesday of Women’s Open week.
Tickets will start at £10 for the practice day and £30 for championship days. There are also discounts available for weekend or five-day bundles.
Not only that, to encourage children and young people to attend, the R&A will continue their successful ‘Kids Go Free’ programme, which provides chidren under 16 with free entry when accompanied by a paying adult, while discounted prices are available for those aged 16-24.
There are also hospitality packages available.
