How to get 2023 Open tickets

As with the 150th Open at St Andrews in 2022, a ballot for tickets will be held for the 151st Open at Royal Liverpool in July 2023.

The ballot opens on June 21, 2022 and ticket prices will range from £95 to £115 on championship days and between £25 to £50 on practice days. Free tickets will continue to be available for children, while those aged 16 to 24 will be able to buy at half price.

Is there anything that can help my chances?

For the best chance to secure tickets, your best bet is to join the Open’s One Club.

Members of the One Club get priority tickets at Royal Liverpool.

There are a number of other benefits to joining the One Club, including exclusive access to competitions, promotions, and content.

What about hospitality packages?

There are a number of different levels of hospitality available. The R&A introduced Origins for 2021 at Royal St George’s and will continue in 2022 and ’23. These are new hospitality experiences they say are “inspired by the Open craftsmen and experts”.

Divided into six fully-inclusive travel packages – Champions, Engravers, Origin Suites, Caddies, Scorers Premium and Scorers – each offers a unique way to enjoy the Open.

“Together they cater to every taste and budget,” they say.

The Scorers packages begin from £275 per person while at the other end, the Champions package starts at £1,500 per person.
