Esther Henseleit is one of the best young European players in the game of golf, with LET wins and an Olympic medal to her name.
Henseleit was born in Varel, Germany, in January 1999, and took up the game under the influence of her mother at the age of 8. She would go on to play junior golf for her native Germany shortly into her teens, before then turning professional at the age of 20, ahead of the 2019 Ladies European Tour season.
The German won twice that year, with a win on the LET Access Series and a win on the Ladies European Tour. The first came at the Skafto Open, with a win at the Magical Kenya Ladies Open shortly following. Henseleit would then win at the latter again in 2022, the second LET win of her fledgling career.
Thanks to her performances over the year running up to the event, Henseleit qualified to make her Solheim Cup debut at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in 2024. She became the sixth German player to feature for Europe in the biennial competition.
